A look at Bedford, Bedfordshire - HISTORIC riverside town in England
A look at the historic English town of Bedford, Bedfordshire. Situated on the River Great Ouse, 46 miles north of London, Bedford has been an important market town since Saxon times. Later a centre for industry, Bedford was well known for its brickworks in the 20th Century. These days Bedford is a popular place for commuters to live, due to its proximity to not just London, but also Milton Keynes, and Cambridge. Bedford is easily reached by train from the capital, as well as from Luton Airport. Bedford is home to many independent shops and restaurants. The town hosts many cultural events throughout the year — every other July, the popular Bedford River Festival takes place. Filmed in 4K on a GoPro Hero 7 - August 2024
