Budget-friendly small planter boxes with fence pickets!

This is the perfect time to build small planter boxes using 3 ½” fence boards for under $10. Inspired by some of my favorite woodworkers, I went down a path to build my own without a tablesaw.  On this journey, I began with a simple miter box and saw that can easily accommodate a fence board. To help speed up the process, I demonstrate the use of power tools such as a circular saw and miter saw. Two prototypes were created and with a slight change in configuration, one can achieve dramatic results depending on preference.  There are numerous ways to approach this, but hopefully my journey is helpful to anybody opening to learning.
