A brief tutorial where I discuss how to find resistance total, current total, and individual currents for resistors in parallel. This is a circuit with two resistors in parallel. Parallel circuits in my opinion are a little more tricky then series circuits. For a parallel circuit you find the resistance total by using the equation one over resistance total = 1 / resistor 1 1/ resistor 2 and so on. From there you can find the total current using v=ir (voltage = current x resistance). Then you can find the individual current of the resistors by using the voltage which is the same for each resistor divided by the resistance of the resistor in question. The resistors currents should add up to current total. If you have any questions about this electricity problem or any other let me know in the comments. I check YouTube at least once a day.
