In the morning we head to the local dealer with our Fendt 930 Vario and buy an MMS Agriline weight, which increases road safety due to its design. Then we head to the Le Groff biogas plant, where we borrow a Holaras silo distributor and a new Strautmann Magnon CFS 470 self-loading wagon. Back at the farm we prepare our John Deere 7810 to compact the grass. Due to cost advantages, we decided to harvest with a self-loading wagon and store our harvest in a field silo. In the early afternoon we start with the grass harvest. Our first field silo fills up quickly and we build a second one. This is also filled very quickly and we have some storage problems. In the end we manage it and put all the field grass of the 4.5 hectare field in two field silos.
