Welcome, my friends! In this Come, Follow Me Christmas lesson (December 22–28: “The Matchless Gift of God’s Divine Son”), we slow down, open the scriptures, and focus our hearts on Jesus Christ—the Baby in Bethlehem, the Lamb of God, and the risen Lord who still says, “Be of good cheer … I am with you” (see Doctrine and Covenants 68:6). In this episode we will: • Walk through beloved Christmas scriptures from the Bible and the Book of Mormon. • Talk about why the Father sent His “Only Begotten Son” (John 3:16) and what that really means for you and your family today. • See how prophets and apostles bear united witness that Jesus is “the divine Son of the living God” and the greatest gift we will ever receive. • Apply the Christmas message to our daily fears, worries, and hopes so that the Savior’s peace can enter our homes right now. 📖 SCRIPTURES WE STUDY TOGETHER We’ll read and ponder verses like: • Luke 1–2 – Mary, Joseph, shepherds, angels, and “good tidings of great joy.” • Matthew 1–2 – Immanuel: “God with us,” guided by dreams and protected by revelation. • Alma 7 – The Savior who took upon Him our pains, sicknesses, and sins so He can run to us in our time of need. • 3 Nephi 1 – A night without darkness and a God who always keeps His promises. • Other supporting scriptures that help us see the full picture of why Jesus was born and why it matters every single day—not just at Christmas. 🕊️ THEMES IN THIS LESSON As we study, we’ll talk about: • Why the Son was the “matchless gift” the Father was willing to give. • How Christmas shows both the love and justice of God. • What it means that Jesus is not only the Savior of the world but also your personal Savior. • How the Book of Mormon is another powerful witness of the living Christ and the reality of His Atonement. • How to let the Spirit write the story of Bethlehem onto your heart so that your worship at Christmas becomes deeper and more Christ-centered. 💬 REFLECTION QUESTIONS YOU CAN PAUSE AND PONDER You might press pause and think about questions like: • What does the Father’s willingness to give His Only Begotten Son teach me about my worth? • When have I felt the Savior “with me” in a very personal way? • What gift of discipleship do I want to offer the Savior this Christmas? • How can my home better reflect the light, peace, and covenants that come through Jesus Christ? 👨👩👧👦 GREAT FOR FAMILIES, CLASSES, AND PERSONAL STUDY Use this video for: • Personal Come, Follow Me study during the week of December 22–28. • Family home evening or a simple family Christmas devotional. • Elders Quorum, Relief Society, Sunday School, or youth classes that want a Christ-centered Christmas focus. • Sharing a quiet, peaceful invitation with friends who are seeking hope in Christ. 🎁 “THE MATCHLESS GIFT” IN YOUR DAILY LIFE Christmas is not just about one day in December. It is about the covenant relationship we can have with Heavenly Father through His Son. The Savior invites us to come unto Him, take His name upon us, enter into sacred covenants, and receive His power in our everyday lives. As we study together, you are invited to: • Remember Him more deliberately each day. • Let His Atonement heal old wounds and soften hard places in your heart. • Trust that He knows your story and is still writing it with mercy and power. • Move forward into the new year with more faith, more hope, and more love because of Him. 🙏 A SIMPLE TESTIMONY I know that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, the promised Messiah, and the Redeemer of the world. I know He was born in Bethlehem, lived a perfect life, suffered and died for our sins, and rose again the third day. I know He lives today, and that His love is personal, constant, and mighty to save. Christmas really is about Him—about the Father’s matchless gift of His divine Son.
