5 Luxury Neighborhoods In Short Pump VA | Living In Richmond Virginia | Short Pump VA

If you are thinking about moving to Richmond VA but unsure where you should live, this is the channel for you! In this video we take you on a tour of 5 different luxury neighborhoods in Short Pump VA. If you have watched our channel for long then you know that we think Short Pump VA is one of the best suburbs of Richmond VA. This video focuses only on the luxury neighborhoods but if you want to learn more about Short Pump be sure to check out some of our other videos highlighting the area. We start our luxury Short Pump tour with the neighborhoods of Royal Oaks and Prescott. For the purposes of this video we lump them together since they are only divided by an invisible line but you would never know. This is one of the more "affordable" luxury neighborhoods and it comes with some location related pros and cons. The pro is that it is in a great Short Pump location but the cons are you might have road noise and there will be extra morning traffic because the high school is right beside the neighborhood. Next we go to Burgundy Parke. Burgundy Parke is located in the far West End near Gayton Road where lots of other 90s neighborhoods are in Short Pump. The area is beautiful and there are lots of mature trees and beautiful front yards. Burgundy Parke has lots of contemporary homes separating it from the nearby neighborhoods. Be prepared to have money ready for updates though as many of the houses here will be in need of some cosmetic work. Westhampton Glen is the next neighborhood we cover. It is actually an older Main Street Homes neighborhood, and Sarah and I almost built our first home here back in the day (2012). The houses are beautiful and we of course love the builder, but some things to keep in mind are that it is further south than lots of other neighborhoods and getting to the highway takes a bit longer. Another thing to know is that there is a cemetery right next door, so that might be a deal breaker for some. Windsor Place West is next and this location is amazing. You have easy highway access, you aren't too far from Broad Street and all that it has to offer, and West Broad Village (Trader Joes, Whole Foods, ACAC, and more) is super close by! Beyond the location we also love the curb appeal. There aren't any HOA amenities but there is a community pool very close by that you could join. Lastly we check out Bell Tower which is jaw dropping. There are only 41 homes in this neighborhood so don't expect to have many chances to buy a home here. Bell Tower also has an amazing location and benefits just the same as Windsor Place West.
