Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department rolls up car fire with mini explosion

JFRD was on scene early to this car fire before an engine with water arrived and watched it progress rapidly. Right before the arrival of the engine crew, the two passenger tire blew up. Just as the engine pulled up, the car had a mini explosion (thought to be the sudden release of airbags in the car). Quick work was made of this fire and there were no injuries.
