We traveled to my mother’s house after not spending New Year together. My stepfather cooked lunch for us, the kids enjoyed dancing and playing, and the elders shared their own moments. The next day, we visited the property I claimed after being scammed, proof that even after setbacks, we can still move forward. We cleaned the land, cut tall grasses, and my uncle planted a calamansi tree, symbolizing hope and new beginnings. This video also shows what life is like in the province here in the Philippines, slow mornings, peaceful nights, close family bonds, and simple happiness.
