Hey Guys, Here's the new version of this special edition that offers the ultimate in driving pleasure, both on the racetrack and in everyday life. Like the BMW M2 Racing, which is based on the chassis of the latest generation M2, the BMW M2 CS will be manufactured at the BMW Group plant in San Luis Potosí, Mexico. As with other special editions from BMW M GmbH, the BMW M2 CS will be produced in limited numbers. The main sales markets are the United States, Germany, and China. The market launch will begin in late summer 2025. The BMW M2 CS will be priced at €115,000 in Germany. Racing expertise delivers inspiring performance. With its enhanced top-end performance, the new BMW M2 CS consolidates its leading position in the high-performance compact segment. These performance characteristics, achieved through modified engine management, further demonstrate the exceptional potential of the inline-six engine developed by BMW M GmbH, which also serves as the basis for the powertrain of the BMW M4 GT3 EVO racing car. The engine's M TwinPower Turbo technology includes a pair of single-scroll turbochargers, each supplying three cylinders with compressed air, an indirect intercooler fed by a low-temperature circuit, and an electronically controlled wastegate. The striking exterior of the BMW M2 CS is shaped by numerous carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP) components and other exclusive details. In addition to the familiar M exterior mirror caps from the BMW M2, the M carbon roof – standard on the special edition model – and the CS-specific rear diffuser are also made of eye-catching exposed carbon fiber. A matte black front diffuser and an exclusive black BMW M kidney grille with optimized air intakes complete the sporty and dynamic look. The lightweight CFRP trunk lid with integrated ducktail spoiler is sure to turn heads. The "M2 CS" logo at the rear features a red outline. Four exterior colors are available for the new BMW M2 CS: Sapphire Black metallic, BMW Individual Velvet Blue metallic, M Brooklyn Grey metallic, and M Portimao Blue metallic. Adaptive LED headlights with glare-free high-beam assist (BMW Selective Beam) and M Shadowline headlights with darkened inlays are also standard. The interior of the new BMW M2 CS combines an exclusive look with the sporty feel of exquisite Alcantara and innovative lightweight design. For example, the center console is made of carbon fiber-reinforced plastic (CFRP). The driver and passenger sit in weight-optimized, heated M Carbon bucket seats with a wide range of electrical adjustments and an illuminated "CS" logo. The integrated headrests are removable and, thanks to the option of integrating multi-point harnesses, improve the car's track-readiness. The seat surfaces are made of Merino leather. Featuring a flat-bottomed rim, gearshift paddles, a red center marker at 12 o'clock, and two M buttons for selecting individual vehicle configurations, the standard M Alcantara steering wheel, available as an option with a heating option, and featuring a three-spoke design, adds an authentic racing touch to the cockpit. The decorative elements of the dashboard and center console are made of M carbon fiber. Other specific details include the red "CS" logo on the center console, the M seat belts, and the front door sill plates, which are black with the "M2 CS" logo and a red outline for the first time. The M-specific cooling system ensures that the powertrain components maintain an optimal operating temperature even under heavy loads, and the oil circuit is designed to handle extreme dynamic driving situations. A map-controlled oil pump ensures reliable oil supply even under extreme acceleration. The engine sends its power through an eight-speed M Steptronic transmission with Drivelogic as standard. The Drivelogic button integrated into the selector lever allows the transmission's shift characteristics to be varied, with a choice of three clearly defined settings. The latest M-specification selector lever and the shift paddles on the steering wheel allow sequential intervention in the gear selection process at any time.
