Hydnefossen: Hydnefossen is the highest waterfall in Buskerud calculated by total drop height. It is located in the river Hydna (or Hornsbekken) at Hornset in Hemsedal municipality. Hydnefossen starts with a drop of 155 meters and continues down the steep slope to the valley floor. You get the best view of the waterfall from the Thorset side of Hemsedal or rv 52 between Hemsedal and Gol and on the parallel road to rv. 52 against Huso. Then you take off in Ulsåk and drive towards Lykkja and take off towards Huso. The waterfall is a popular place for ice climbing in winter and in summer many people take the Topp20 trip towards Veslehødn or Storehødn, where the waterfall is crossed at the top. Fekjanåene waterfall: The valley's new 'Instagram hotspot' has a lot to offer and the turquoise crystal clear water tempts both young and old to take a dip, especially on beautiful summer days.
