Until the 2017 introduction of BOGS Seamless line of boots, all neoprene rubber boots had been constructed the same way, no matter the manufacturer. Using the vulcanization process, layers of rubber are built around a waterproof neoprene bootie and along with an adhered sole, produce a long-lasting, comfortable boot. A well-constructed vulcanized boot can last 500-750,000 flexes before experiencing a failure, whether it's along a seam or glue at the sole. Seamless construction takes this construction to the next level. By using a proprietary molding process, BOGS eliminates those potential weak points, resulting in a single, continuous, one-piece boot that is up to 30% lighter than a comparable vulcanized boot and can last over three times longer. Seamless boots have been tested to over 2.7 million flexes!
