If you would like to play without alcohol, use water instead and add this rule: whenever a player goes to the bathroom, they are eliminated from the game. The last player standing wins. Shuffle a standard 52 card deck of playing cards and each player picks a card at random. Ace is high and 2 is low. The player with the lowest card is the dealer. If there is a tie, try again. The dealer shuffles the deck. The player left of the dealer goes first, then play proceeds clockwise. On your turn you have 3 attempts to guess the rank of the top card of the deck. State the rank and the dealer discards the top card from the deck. If you guessed correctly, the dealer takes a drink and the next player guesses. If, however, you guess incorrectly, then you take a drink and try again on the next top card of the deck. Resolve the guess the same way. On your third and final guess, instead of guessing what the top card’s rank is, instead you will guess if the top card is either higher or lower than your 2nd card guessed. If you guess correctly, play continued to the next player. If you guessed incorrectly, you take a drink and become the new dealer and the next player clockwise goes.
