In this beginner-friendly Ableton tutorial, I show you how I recorded an instrumental song (not beat) from start to finish. This video is perfect if you’re new to music production, home recording, or just getting started with Ableton Live. I also stared Ableton a few months ago, and wanted to share some tips. I talk about the basics of instrument cables, tuning a guitar in Ableton, recording rhythm guitar, using MIDI with an e-piano, and about headphones for recording. I also share my personal learning process and the three things that helped me teaching myself music recording as a beginner. I’m still learning myself, but I hope this video helps other beginners feel less overwhelmed and more confident when starting their own home studio journey.
