Return of the Turnabout - Proof of concept | Objection.lol

The case significantly modifies the story of Dual Destinies. In this timeline, Turnabout Reclaimed never happened, and the case takes place right after Turnabout Academy. Edgeworth has been the Chief Prosecutor for some time now and has been trying to bring about changes in the Prosecutor's Office. But he hasn't had much luck. The office has a bad reputation among the public, and while many recognize his efforts, they still question whether the Chief Prosecutor can truly be trusted. People remember all the good things Edgeworth did, but they also remember his past. They are now unsure if he didn’t just change himself just to reach a high position. But his subordinates also don't want any changes. Moreover, the Prosecutor's Office has shady dealings in the background, and Edgeworth is slowly getting closer to uncovering them. Other prosecutors have decided that they cannot wait any longer — they conspire to falsely accuse Edgeworth in order to remove him from his position. If Miles loses this case, people will turn away from him and the law even more. If he wins, the public will finally see where the problem lies and support the reforms the office so desperately needs.
