What is the future of Ganbare Goemon? Well, Konami seems to have figured it out in 2001...the problem is that they didn't really do anything with the franchise since shortly after that time. Goemon: Shin Sedai Shuumei, or The Successor for a New Generation as it's known in English, is the result of Konami giving the Ganbare Goemon series a fun and futuristic makeover. It's part continuation, part soft reboot and something all fans of action platformers should give a try.
