Day 116: My host in Chefchaouen told me about a little dirtroad up the Rif mountains behind the blue city of Morocco. A 70 km loop taking my high up and into the Talassemtane Unesco Biosphere Reserve. It would be my first dirtroad experience in Morocco and honestly, I wasn’t sure I could manage the steep road and hairpins up the mountain. But I decided to give it a try. Without luggage, the bike was nice and light and the weather was perfect for a Christimas dirt adventure.
