Klovetinden - Solo Hiking the Sunnmøre Alps. Lyngefjellet to Klovetinden

Klovetinden 949 masl. Not the standard route to Klovetinden. 15 km round trip starting from the parking lot at Barstadvika town centre up to Lyngefjellet, Stortua, Klovekinn and ending up at Klovetinden. The path up to Lyngesætra is easy to follow, but there is no clear path after this point until you get up to the top of Lygefjelelt and start the final push up to Stortua. From top of Lygegfjellet and up tp Stortua you follow the path up the ridge line. I chose to walk over to Klovekinn (920 masl), before continuing to Klovetinden at 949 masl. Once at the top you get a beautiful 360 view of Romestrandhornet, Ramoen, Molladalen, Middagshornet and the Breisundet in the North. Romestrandhornet, Ramoen and Middagshornet are hikes I did earlier this year, and you can see these videos in my video archive. The walk up Lyngefjellet during Summer will be a bit more challenging as its quite swampy up the mountain. This day the temperature was close to 0 and the ground was partly frozen, making the hike easier but cold. The wind chill made it feel like -5 deg. Celsius walking up.
