Notable films include Vidhaata (1982), Roti Kapda Aur Makaan (1974), Mujhe Jeene Do (1963), and Kalicharan (1976), he worked alongside stars like Dev Anand, Manoj Kumar, and Shashi Kapoor. Krishan was married to Munni Dhawan, sister of director Bhappie Soni, and was the father of actor Dilip Dhawan, known for the TV serial Nukkad.
