Luke has created a video series for the LEARNER automatic scooter rider. Want to learn how to ride a Vespa? Then this series of videos will take you through the steps. PART THREE: GO, SLOW, STOP. THROTTLE & BRAKES. In this video, Luke explains good riding posture and explains how to take off and move off and go! Luke also explain how to use the rear brake, the front brake and both brakes together. Luke explains and demonstrates some braking exercises and techniques for the beginner rider to learn and practice. The key focus of this lesson is controlling the throttle and brakes for safety and the emphasis for the new rider is learning to accelerate and brake in a straight line, in an upright position.
