In this vlog, I take you with me through one emotional week in Izmir: visiting my favourite old spots, discovering three new places I’ve never seen before, eating both nostalgic and new dishes (including the classic fish sandwich by the marina 🍞🐟), and riding the ferry across the sea again. We even went back to our old apartment to see how the neighborhood has changed. Some things felt exactly the same — but I didn’t. And that surprised me. Izmir is changing in beautiful ways: more people speak English, the city is growing, and it still keeps the charm that made me fall in love with it years ago.
