FINANCE & COORDINATING MINISTER OF THE ECONOMY EMPHASIZES NEED TO DRIVE ECONOMIC GROWTH.

As the Nation embarks on a new era of economic reforms, Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr. Wale Edun has urged the need to leveraging expertise in driving the Country's developmental priorities. The statement signed by the Director, Information and Public Relations to the Ministry, Mr. Mohammed Manga disclosed that the Minister made the call in Abuja during the assumption of office by the Permanent Secretary Special Duties, Mr. Raymond Omenka Omachi, advising top management to prioritize economic growth and development. Represented by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry, Mrs. Lydia Shehu Jafiya, the Minister noted that the reforms of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led Administration aim at improving the quality of life of Nigerians, and that, the changes are pivotal to the Country's economic growth and development. While emphasizing the importance of teamwork and collaboration among the Ministry's staff to achieving these goals, he commended the contributions of the Minister of State for Finance, Doctor Doris Uzoka Anite for her invaluable dedication and expertise. Responding, the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry on Special Duties, Mr. Raymond Omenka Omachi applauded both Ministers for their sterling leadership that is enabling the Ministry to deliver on its mandate, while pledging to work closely with the Ministry's staff in ensuring seamless service delivery while also emphasizing the need for open communication, innovation, and hard work to drive the Ministry's objectives.
