Today I put the DJI Mini 5 Pro to the test using the DJI RC 2 controller — and this is not your usual simple Return To Home demo! I carried out two Advanced RTH tests in and around an abandoned property to see how intelligent this small drone really is. ✅ TEST ONE Home Point set inside the building. I flew the drone out through the front door and into the countryside… then pressed Return To Home. Will it come back through the doorway and land in the exact same spot? ⚠️ TEST TWO This time the Home Point is outside. I fly the drone inside the building… then trigger RTH. What does it do? Does it try to retrace its path? Climb? Avoid obstacles? One test worked perfectly. The other had a few unexpected moments! The goal of this video is to show: How capable Advanced RTH really is How well obstacle sensing performs in tight environments Why the Mini 5 Pro is becoming one of the smartest small drones to buy right now What you should (and shouldn’t) rely on when flying indoors or near structures For such a compact drone, the intelligence packed inside this thing is impressive. Let me know in the comments — would YOU trust Advanced RTH in a situation like this? 🔔 If you enjoy real-world DJI testing: Like 👍 Subscribe ✅ And I’ll see you in the next one. — Shaun Welcome to Shaun the Drone — your source for real flight tests, tutorials, and honest reviews using the latest DJI drones.
