Video footage courtesy of ‪@FOBBVCAM‬ We are getting close to the PIP Watch (March 1, 2025). This is a recap video of two days full of lovely switcheroos with lots of bird visitors. You'll see an adult Bald Eagle and Ravens flying by the nest. You'll also see an Acorn Woodpecker, Northern Flickers' evening courtship as well as their morning gathering in the Headless Tree with Steller's Jays. There will also be plenty of Fiona the Flying Squirrel's visits at night. She'll even pay a visit with Fast Freddie once! You'll see how Jackie wingslaps Fiona & how Fiona escapes. You'll see a few incubation tricks to make Shadow leave the nest. Shadow will also use a few tricks. He'll even use one of Jackie's tricks to make her leave the nest sooner. :-) There'll also be a few fluff & sticks deliveries. I included a bonus footage at the end for those of you who like watching Jackie's and Shadow's beautiful close-ups and other birds. :-) Enjoy! 😍🥰 Dates: February 25 & 26, 2025 Place: Big Bear Valley, the USA February 25, 2025 Daddy Duty Report: Shadow attended the nest for: 6hr 33min, 6 visits. February 26, 2025 Daddy Duty Report: Shadow attended the nest for: 6hr 34min, 3 visits. His longest Daddy Duty so far this season and one of the visits was his the longest single shift!
