Cooking Mom’s Lasagna for My Dad - Her Recipe, Our Memories

I'm really missing my mom at the holidays, and so is my Dad. I'm making her original lasagna recipe just for him. It's bringing back so many memories. Mom's Lasagna Recipe 1 lb ground beef (cooked) 1/2 medium sized onion, diced 2 cans tomato paste 1 can whole peeled tomatoes 1/2 Tbs brown sugar garlic powder salt & pepper 1 1/2 cups water brown the ground beef, drain fat and simmer all ingredients together for one hour boil 9 lasagna noodles 12 oz small curd cottage cheese 2 eggs salt & pepper cover mixture in parmesan cheese layer as instructed in video with 8 oz mozzarella cheese Cover with foil and bake in a 375 degree oven for a total of 40-45 minutes uncovering half way through.
