Pocomoke River State Park Review | The Park Report

Thank you for checking out my first video in my Park Report series. Since COVID 19 looks like it’s here to stay, I’m going to unpack all my old camping gear and check out my beautiful surroundings, starting the State Parks. I would like to get better at doing video content so I’m going to also take this time to teach myself HitFilm Express and the art of making good YouTube videos. This video isn’t exactly where I want it, in many ways, but I don’t want to let perfect get in the way of good 😊 My god it’s tough listening to your own voice, and at the ripe age of 30 years old I’m realizing how terrible my voice and speech quality is! I feel sorry for all my clients and coworkers on WebEx now. Things I’m going to focus on for the next video: better b roll and being a little more upbeat. ______________________________________________________________ This is a video review of Pocomoke River State Park. A Maryland State Park on the Eastern Shore about 30 minutes west of Ocean City, MD. If you’re tent camping, I highly suggest the Deer Run loop, especially if you do not have dogs. Every pet friendly camp loop we stay at has at least one barking dog all night! The park is fun, but the local attractions really make this worth the trip. We loved going to Ocean City and checking out the beach, and we REALLY did see wild horses walking right past us when we went to Assateague National Park. Berlin was our favorite small town; they had a bunch of antique shops and restaurants that we will be checking out once we get a hold on the coronavirus.
