This is my demo of the JB75SB Vs the JB40FL basses by Harley Benton. You got it: it’s a fretted Vs fretless Jazz Bass shoot-out! So I decided to play two songs, one which is strongly associated with either sound, but to play them with each bass: the one you’re used to... and the “other” one... Naturally, I chose songs that could potentially have a good outcome with the “other” sound: 1. the Chicken by Pee Wee Ellis (Jaco’s version), for the fretless jazz sound 2.
