Plan is to build a height adjustable desk with this as my desktop. Follow along as I build out the desk. Edit 12/14/2020: (I thought I had this here the whole time) First Sand then apply mineral spirits wait till its dry about twenty minutes or so apply first coat of stain. Wait 24 hours. I was happy with the color so didn't do any more stain but you could. Sand and wipe down, add first Poly coat, wait 24 hours. Although the back of the can does say you can reapply after 15 minutes but I waited so it wouldn't get gummy when I sanded. Sand again 200 grit, wipe down, apply second coat of poly wait 24 hours and then sand and wipe down apply the third coat, I waited 48 hours and then did a wet sand with a 1000 grit sand paper and poly to apply final coat. Then left it alone for a couple of days.
