To celebrate Wrestle Kingdom 10 on January 4, 2016 I am uploading historic matches from the January 4 Tokyo Dome Show over the years in Virtual Pro Wrestling 2! I am also playing each match on the Expert difficulty! I am playing as Genichiro Tenryu against Antonio Inoki from the main event of the third Jan 4 Tokyo Dome Show called Battlefield. This was a followup to the previous year's main event, which saw Tenryu beating the top rising star of the company Riki Choshu. This was a meeting of icons with a lot of drama during the match, specifically at one point Tenryu seemed to be knocked unconscious by one of Inoki's signature chokes. I highly recommend watching the real version of this match if you can. Check out my Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 Let's Play series, where I elaborate on the gameplay of VPW2 and the infamous AKI wrestling engine, provide historical context and fun facts about the wrestlers in the game, as well as my own observations and opinions on wrestling as a lifelong fan: • Virtual Pro Wrestling 2 - Let's Play - All...
