Without employment, meeting even the most basic needs has been an ongoing struggle. Hunger has been the greatest challenge in her home, often leaving her worried about how she would feed her children each day. Her children remain at home because she cannot afford school fees. The family lives in a small, overcrowded single room in poor condition a fragile shelter where rainwater enters whenever it storms. Despite these hardships, Gorret continues to fight for her children’s well-being with strength and determination. Through the generous food donation from New City Church, delivered through covidug.org, Gorret and her children have received much-needed relief. This act of kindness has brought nourishment, comfort, and renewed hope to a family facing extremely difficult circumstances. Gorret expressed her heartfelt gratitude to New City Church for their compassion and support. Their generosity has made a meaningful difference in her family’s lives and reminded them that they are not forgotten. Thank you, New City Church, for being a source of hope and blessing to Gorret and her children.
