#KatoharGul #AdhamSultan #history Professor Amir Hussain Shar Sahib narrating story of Adham Sultan. Wonderful, mysterious story. Watch Vlog up to the end. The shrine of Hazrat Sultan Adham popularly known as Sultan Badshah is located in the hilly range, Taluka Kot Diji, District Khairpur. It lies at a distance of about sixty kms in the east and approx. twenty minutes’ drive from Kot Diji.the shrine is situated at least 600 feet approx. to the ground level, on the hilltop and the path leading to the hill summit is safe and can be scaled easily. A hearsay about Sultant Adham of Sarkar Ibraheem Adham goes as that he was some of a very rich king of the time. The king was issueless and wasstruggling to bear and was could obviously succeed him. One day he was found lying at a deserted place and was visited by a faqeer, who was passing through. The faqeer was merely dressed a longothi (a cloth sheet) with a bag hanging in his shoulder. The unknown king explained him his problem to which the faqeer consoled him and presented him a red rose and asked him to consume some of its petals. The faqeer gazed at him and uttered that soon he would bear a boy baby and bound him with the conditionality that he would share one of its portions with him. The time, the king's long standing dream of bearing the child came true and he had the son, the other day the faqeer appeared and asked about the promised share from the child. The faqeer pointed at the child who was lying besides and waved his finger at him. The child was cut across and hence divided into two equal pieces. The faqeer picked up one of portions of his body and put it into his bag and set off for further journey. Fortunately, when the baby was unwrapped, he was found healthy to the utmost surprise of the pa rents. The baby was later on named as lbraheem Adham. (The word Adham has been derived from a Sindhi word 'Adh’ means half). Another half of the child, which was taken away by the unknown faqeer later on came to be known as Abdullah Shah Godrrio or Shah Godrrai (buried in Dadu district). When Ibraheem Adham grew old, his Taj Poshi ceremony was performed in a befitting fashion. During his days on throne he came across two striking events which compelled him to throw his kingdom and migrate to Madina, where he began the life of completely an ordinary man, always ready to serve the travelers and pilgrims and providing food to the emptied stomach men or women. One day, he was ordered by the Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.W) to migrate back to Sindh and preach truth. He came back to Dargah Sultan. [Source: Khairpur Jewel & Crown of Sindh Courtesy: Momin Bullo]
