The result is the muscles and tendons that support our hip “bind down” and get “tight” - resulting in even less regular motion. When our hips aren’t moving like they should during normal function, this lack of mobility has to be accounted for somewhere - most often it’s in the knees and lower back and many times the result is pain in these areas. Luckily, there’s a lot that the right stretches and exercises can do to help increase range of motion in your hips, decrease tightness, and alleviate that pain you might be experiencing.
