John Cangelosi is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues primarily as an outfielder for 13 seasons. The diminutive Cangelosi was the surprise of the White Sox 1986 spring camp when he won the center field job. He stole 50 bases that year, an American League rookie record at the time. Later in his career, he was a member of the Florida Marlins World Series team in 1997. John now operates the Cangelosi Baseball Academy, located inside the Bo Jackson's Elite Sports Dome in Lockport, Illinois.
