Departing from a drizzly Kyogle following a night of rain, Mark and Deborah head to Nimbin for the first time, where they enjoyed a lovely breakfast at Vedic Vegetarian before moving westward towards the New England region. Unsurprisingly, Deborah has never ridden a motorcycle on wet roads or in the rain before and expresses some concern about what lies ahead. While the couple manage to reach Tenterfield NSW without getting drenched, it is a very unpleasant day for videography. After a quick stop at accommodation it is back over the Queensland border 2-up (10 minutes away) for an evening of entertainment, fine food and wine with Nine Year Sister at Balancing Heart Vineyard, in what became a gloriously sunny afternoon with a beautiful sunset.
