There's got to be hundreds of SCP Games out by this point. Some are more popular than others such as SCP Containment Breach, but many have one thing in common that has been the root of controversy. They tend to misrepresent how some of the SCPs work as described in their documents; they go against the canon lore of the franchise. People have varying opinions on this. Some believe that this is totally fine and sometimes necessary, but others think that this is unacceptable. In this video, I take both sides of the argument into account to form my own opinion on whether or not lore accuracy in SCP Games is something we should be concerned with. In context of lore accuracy, I give praise to the latest Heavy Duty update for SCP SL; particularly their new item SCP 1344. I also show off how I attempted to program lore accurate versions of SCP 008 and SCP 106 in the Godot Engine. I presented how I intend on adding back the femur breaker, and spreading the zombie virus of 008. My hope in doing this is to either give Northwood Studios and Affray Interactive some interesting ideas to try out in their games SCP Secret Laboratory and SCP 5k, or give viewers of this video yet another reason to get excited about my own SCP Game in the works.
