Demise 'Nard' McMullen Rejects 20-Year Plea Deal In Donovan Thomas Murder

Today (Tuesday, December 17) was the last day for the final defendants in the YSL gang racketeering conspiracy case to take negotiated pleas with prosecutors. Demise "Nard" McMullen considered taking a plea deal but ultimately decided not to. Prosecutors wanted him to plead guilty to RICO conspiracy and involuntary manslaughter for the 2015 murder of Donovan Thomas. McMullen didn't accept, so he's going to trial in February. McMullen already is serving a prison sentence for the 2015 shooting of Dexter Montgomery.
