My dream was to see the Northern Lights in Iceland, so I travelled to Iceland in December. Visiting Iceland in Winter is challenging due to the weather but shows a unique scenery with the Aurora Borealis and snowy landscape. As a base, I stayed in Reykjavik in different at Airbnbs and did multiple excursions. As I stuck in Reykjavik I had more time explore the city, talk to friendly people and try interesting foods (like eating the fermented Greenland Shark!) If you want to visit Iceland in winter this video shows the best winter excursions, tourist attractions in Iceland, including seeing the Norther Lights, as well as give you a glimpse how to prepare for the weather.
