Mantashe hopes to return to Xolobeni

After last week's postponement of Minerals Minister Gwede Mantashe's visit to Xolobeni in the Eastern Cape, the minster says he's still committed to return to the area. The Department and the community have been at logger heads for years over proposed plans to mine titanium along the Wild Coast region.The Amadiba Crisis Committee which comprises of members from community, won a court battle recently which ruled that the minister must first get consent from them before going ahead with the project. They have accused him of intending to transport people from other areas to convince the Xolobeni community that they needed mining.To discuss this further we're now joined by Nonhle Mbuthuma, spokesperson of the Amadiba Crisis Committee.
