My Amazing Third Day in Korea Sobrang lamig! This is what I keep mumbling every time I step out of the accommodation. Mga mima, hindi biro ang winter sa Korea, lalo na kung first time mo ma-experience. Literal na parang karne kang nasa ref.... char! I was so excited because today’s the day for my Nami Island Tour! Finally, I’ll get to see where Winter Sonata was filmed. I even researched photos of the place, and true enough, the trees are bald during winter. We also had side trips to EOBI Ice Valley and Garden of the Morning Calm. I booked my Nami Island tour via Klook. Here’s my itinerary for the day: • Nami Island • EOBI Ice Valley • Garden of the Morning Calm Sadly, I was late for the first meetup at Hongik University Station. The tour guide called me and told me to go directly to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station. Ayun, tumakbo ako nang bonggang-bongga para umabot sa second meeting place! Luckily, I made it just in time and met the tour guide. The bus was almost full ang dami rin naming sumama sa tour. Off we go to Nami Island! EOBI was so beautiful, parang bahay ni Ice Queen. The waterfalls were literally frozen! I even ate noodles to warm myself up. At the Garden of the Morning Calm, grabe mga mima, parang nananampal ang lamig! I couldn’t handle it anymore, so I stayed in the waiting area where there was a heater. Despite the cold, it was all worth it!
