Has there ever been a time where you felt like you were going through the most difficult time of your life and you were just not sure what to do? Do you have those moments that you feel like the answer to your prayer is a million mile away and that God is a million and one miles away? Have you ever wondered what to do when you feel all is lost and hope is not on the horizon? There is an old song of our Christians faith that applies here: There's a Promise coming down that dusty road From His holy hand healing virtue flows He's got the keys to what you need Death and hell He will defeat There's a Promise coming down that dusty road In Isaiah 43 there are three distinct promises that, when applied to our lives, will encourage us, challenge us, and change us. The important thing to remember, is that God is not slack concerning His promises, and we cannot afford to be slack concerning our relationship with Jesus. Let’s look at these three promises. Isaiah 43:1-4 But now, O Israel, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. 2 When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. 3 For I am the Lord, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior. I gave Egypt as a ransom for your freedom; I gave Ethiopia and Seba in your place. 4 Others were given in exchange for you. I traded their lives for yours because you are precious to me. You are honored, and I love you. The Promise of Protection The Promise of Victory The Promise of Salvation Two ways to Give: Website: https://my.simplegive.com/App/Giving/...
