Paralenz Vaquita is the second generation of action cameras designed specifically for divers rather than for a use on land. The camera is pressure-proof up to 350 m by design and doesn't need an aditional hosing or hull-penetrating buttons. The housing is made of a marine grade aluminium alloy. All functions are accessible via magnetic switches made of titanium. This eliminates both weak points of the conventional camera designs with potential leaks through large hatches or button-o-rings This also reduces the camera weight and size (240 g dry weight, 100 g negative buyancy, 128x40x43 mm dimensions) Switch operations are accompanied by vibration feedback noticeable even with dry gloves. The feedback also makes the camera better suitable for helmet mounting Camera uses a Sony IMX577 image sensor (1/2,3", 12.3 MP) and provides video footage with up to 4K @ 60 fps resolution.
