The winter hill beast part “2” This is the email I received that started the investigation. Hi Noel. I got your email address from one of your YouTube videos. I’m sending you this email to let you know about a rather scary encounter I had, wild camping near to Bolton. I’m not certain of the exact date but I will be able to check my debit card statement (purchased equipment from the camping shop). Here’s a quick assessment of what I saw. I had just finished setting up my camp it was not dark but getting that way, probably about half an hour of LL, I heard some noise down the banking that sounded like it came from next to the stream, I picked up my binoculars and climbed over one or two fallen trees to get to the edge of the banking. I didn’t see anything at first even though I was looking through my binoculars, then I noticed a group of route balls from some trees that had been pushed over. I noticed something moving next to the twisted roots of the tree, so I began to take more notice of that area. Then from on top of one I noticed something looking at me. It looked like a big hairy cat I mean a cat the size of a lion, I can only see its head and shoulders at first, because it was looking straight at me. It then turned and ran across the ground, jumped over the stream and off up the other side of the banking into the woods. The closest thing that I can say it looks like was a lion, but it was really dark fur, a black/brown colour. If you need any more information drop me an email I will get back to you.
