Adventures in Modding 5: Skyrim Armor & Clothing Mesh Workflow

Many thanks to Karter, who created the outfit I'm using as the example in this video. Karter is an amazing creator who has produced some absolutely stunning outfits and accessories for Skyrim! Please check out this under-appreciated artist over at Karter House: http://kartermods.blogspot.com/ This video is a high level overview of my general workflow for modifying Skyrim armor and clothing meshes in Blender. I do have plans to make some more detailed guides, but that's going to take a lot longer. I'm certainly not an expert in doing this, but I've learned the basics to fix clipping, add/remove parts of a mesh, make mashups by combining different meshes, convert between sexes, and convert from one body type to another. In this video, I am converting a beautiful dress created by Karter for the Demonica race to the UNP female body type for the standard human race. The result is not 100% perfect (mostly because I'm not a weight painting expert), but it works well enough in-game for my tastes.
