GUDA AGAIN VISITORS

It was another impromptu trip to Guda lake close to where we stay, What we saw was a spectacle of birds feeding in the morning. Knobbed Bill Ducks, Coots, Snipes, Rock Pigeons, Northern Shovelers, Oriental Darters, Babblers, Stilts, Cormorants, Lap Wings, Sand Pipers, Herons, Egrets were there in plenty. What I was looking for were some new specie of birds. Then at one corner of the lake was a pair of “Spoonbills” picking breakfast. The spoon was so prominent that one could use them as cutlery. Just then a “River Tern” flew past. Later we saw a pied King fisher too. Animals spotted around the lake were Wild boars and Blue Bulls It was an interesting visit.
