Here are some footages of what I have encountered during my dive in Sardine Reef Raja Ampat. Sardine Reef is an oval shaped reef patch, it sits right in the middle of some open ocean. The reef starts at 5 meters and then slopes down to the ocean floor. Around the reef, Besides the colourful coral, you could encounter large number of Snappers, Damselfish and butterflyfish. Diving here can be pretty adventurous, which is definitely one the main attractions while diving in Sardine Reef. Currents are frequent on most dives and they can dramatically change from day to day. But these currents are what make this area special and so rich in life. To deal with the current, the idea is not to fight the current, diving should be fun, so better is drift along and go with the flow! The feeling of flying underwater is simply stunning and it will surely be one of the most remarkable experiences that Sardine Reef has to offer!
