The Museum of Islamic Art. My curiosity leads me to research the history of the museum and who is the architect behind its unique architecture. What I discovered was a fascinating history. Qatar’s Museum of Islamic art was built from 2003 to 2008 by Chinese - American Architect Leon Ming Pie, Architect Leon Ming Pie took a world tour to understand the diversity of Islamic architecture and the result of his voyage discovery and with work fusion with French designer Archetich Jean Michelle Wilmotte is the unique and glamorous Museum of Islamic Art in Qatar. The Museum of Islamic Art is the crown jewel of Qatar’s museums and well-known internationally for showcasing 14 centuries of Islamic arts and artifacts from around the world. It's stunning architecture and interiors speak of modern architecture but also the essence of Islam. Walk every level and you are transported into that ancient world and historic truth of how great this culture was in every stage of its history. looking at it, you can't help but feel the greatness of the culture it represents. Each room is well explained, The exhibits are amazing and intriguing art collection. The artwork and artifacts from other Middle Eastern countries that spans thousands of years. I consider the Museum of Islamic Art as one of my favorite museums in the world it hosts the best piece of Islamic art that one can find. The Architecture of the museum rivals that of any other famous museum anywhere else. Amazing place to learn about Islamic art and enjoy The view of Doha's skyline is spectacular. We stroll around whilst taking loads of photos. The Museum of Islamic Art is worth visiting and I highly recommended to everyone visiting Qatar.
