In a previous video I replaced the compete drive train on this old Dutch Phoenix Mentor bicycle. To bad I also discovered an issue with the 26 inch rear wheel that probably had some broken bearings. Fortunately I found a donor bicycle with a usable 28 inch Shimano coaster brake. So in this video I'm going to replace the 26" wheel with a 28" one. As it was supposed to have :) 0:01 – My Union parts bicycle. 0:36 – Inspecting the rear wheel, it has some broken spokes. 2:04 – The wheels have been removed. 2:30 - Replacing the broken spokes and truing the wheel. 3:25 – Installing a difficult bicycle tire. 4:53 – Installing the “new” 28” rear wheel. 6:09 – Swapping the rear sprocket.. 7:31 – Spacing out the rear hub. 10:22 – Something is rubbing the chain case. 12:01 – Installing a aluminium handlebar. 13:40 – Time to take a test ride in the winter :) 17:48 – Cutting up the old Union frame.
