Overview Episode 2: IGNACE OUTPOSTS: Piking Wilderness on Lake Seseganaga Babs and Matt’s say goodbye to Lake Of The Woods and drive South East along Trans Canadian Highway 603 to the town of Ignace on the famous Pacific Railway. In the early days, Ignace was a settlement built from railway boxcars and known as Little England, and it’s from here that Matt and Babs take to the air to seek out the remote wilderness that had fuelled their desire to explore Canada. They’re given a boat, engine and fuel and are left to discover just what lays beneath the surface of this untapped water. This adventure is as much about survival as big fish as they forage for food and hunt out big Walleye, Northern Pike and whatever giants they encounter in their untapped lake. But before they load up the classic Otter sea plan, there’s enough time to stock up on provisions in the local store before they unplug themselves from civilization.
