Sterling Siren M-10 | 6 PM Blast | Seven Mile, OH | 8/2/19

Since nobody around here tests First Friday (ever since Fayette County switched testing to last Friday of every month) I decided to go see Seven Mile's Sterling, which does a daily blast every day at 6 PM. The main reason I came here was because I'd never heard a 16/16 port Sterling before and wanted to see how these compare to their 8/16 port counterpart. Overall, the 16/16 port was louder up close because of the biting tone of the 16 port rotor, but I'm sure they don't carry quite as far as the 8/16 port Sterlings do. I was still impressed by how loud these sirens are. This siren is also mounted really high up on a newer concrete/steel pole, which is interesting. It's also got a huge whip on it. Not much else to say except pardon the beginning, a lady in the parking lot came up and questioned me a few seconds before the test. Even though I had been expecting it (a nice man told me that I might get questioned by her), I was still a bit startled and that's why my voice was a bit shaky, as anyone's reaction probably would be. Anyways, enjoy the video!
