Libyan Berber Pharaoh Sheshonq I (also called King Sheshak or Shishak شيشنق) military campaign against the Kingdoms of Israel and Judah is commemorated on a wall called the "Bubastite Portal" of the Karnak Temple of Amun-Re located in the ancient city of Thebes (modern Luxor) in Egypt. Sheshonq's victories over the renegade Hebrew Kingdoms and his conquests of the cities of Gezer, Har Meggiddo (Armageddon) and Jerusalem are testified in the Bible itself (Old Testament Bible I Kings 14:25, II Chronicles 12:2) : Solomon sought to put Jeroboam to death, but Jeroboam promptly fled to King Sheshak of Egypt; and he remained in Egypt till the death of Solomon. (1 Kings 11:40). In the fifth year of King Rehoboam, King Sheshak of Egypt marched against Jerusalem—for they had trespassed against the LORD—with 1,200 chariots, 60,000 horsemen and innumerable troops who came with him from Egypt: Libyans, Sukkites, and Kushites. He took the fortified towns of Judah and advanced on Jerusalem ... King Sheshak of Egypt marched against Jerusalem. He took away the treasures of the House of the LORD [Yahweh] and the treasures of the royal palace; he took away everything; he took away the golden shields that Solomon had made. (2 Chronicles 12:2-9). امازيغ مصر الفرعون شيشنق بوابة شيشنق معبد الكرنك
