Creating MIDI Notes in Ableton Live with AI

This project is a technical exploration into the intersection of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Ableton Live 12 Suite. As a professional in network/security engineering and architecture, I’m utilizing the Ableton Object Model (LOM) as a sandbox to test AI agent capabilities, state management, and API orchestration. A note on my creative process: While this experiment pushes the boundaries of DAW automation, I do NOT use AI-generated melodies or harmonies in my own music. To me, music production is a medium of pure personal expression. This video is about the "engineering of the tool," while the "art in the machine" remains entirely my own. While AI may soon be able to simulate any sound or structure, it cannot replace the human 'why.' To me, music is a record of personal exploration and lived feeling. Using AI to manage my tools is an engineering challenge; using my own heart to write the notes is a human necessity. Excuse the audio issues when the clips first start playing. It sounds fine locally. I was having an issue with the streaming audio using a plugin to be able to record the music into OBS.
